CO-OP Announces Vice President of Finance Robert Colford
North Dighton —Joyce Faria, President & Chief Executive Officer of Cooperative Production, Inc. (“CO-OP”), a Taunton-area non-profit agency supporting adults with intellectual and other disabilities, recently announced an addition to CO-OP’s senior management team. Robert Colford, a resident of Franklin, joined CO-OP as its Vice President of Finance.
Mr. Colford has a strong financial services background, including financial analysis and reporting, accounting, management, leasing and tax advantaged investments, commercial banking, corporate finance, and risk management.
Mr. Colford joined CO-OP on August 16 and will serve as a member of the senior management team. He has assumed primary responsibility for overseeing CO-OP’s financial health as well as charting and managing its financial strategies moving forward.
“Robert Colford is a financial executive with a distinguished 20-year track record of success,” said Ms. Faria. “As we continue to work towards the ambitious goals set forth in our strategic plan, Bob’s financial skills and experience will be invaluable.”
CO-OP is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization supporting local citizens with developmental and other disabilities, including brain injuries, in a variety of residential and day programs, employment supports, and clinical services. Founded in 1972 and currently serving approximately 300 individuals and family members in Southeastern Massachusetts, CO-OP’s mission focuses on individualized services and community participation.
